Co-invest (or more formally, co-investment) refers to investing alongside a fund manager into one of their fund’s portfolio companies. It allows the investor the opportunity to invest directly into a single company as opposed to a portfolio fund or single fund. Each co-invest offering represents an investment where the fund manager is concurrently investing into that company (and in that specific round) via its fund vehicle.
